Hot strawberries with gelato

A simple and quick dessert.

INGREDIENTS

• Fresh strawberries
• Lemon
• Sugar
• Gelato of your choice: Fior di panna, Custard, Vanilla or Mascarpone 

PREPARATION

1. Squeeze the lemon and dissolve the sugar in it to create the sauce for the strawberries in a large bowl
2. Wash and dice the strawberries over the sauce and then mix well
3. Place the strawberries in a “single-serving” bowl for one portion
4. Warm the strawberries in the microwave 
5. Serve two scoops of gelato over the warm strawberries, which will heat it up and soften it.

A valid alternative can be a fresh fruit salad.

It is recommended to use an ice cream scooper
