Cheesecake Italian style
An Italian reinterpretation of this popular dessert, starting with our Mascarpone gelato.
INGREDIENTS
- Fresh raspberries
- Raspberry sorbet
- Mascarpone gelato
- Sponge cake (if you desire)
PREPARATION
The famous “cheesecake” is a cold cake made of a pastry base on which rests a high layer of fresh cheese cream, sweetened and treated with other ingredients.
Our proposal is an Italian reinterpretation of this popular dessert, starting with our Mascarpone gelato.
- Choose whether to make a single cake or individual portions.
- Spread the sponge cake inside the cake mold or alternatively on the bottom of the glass or bowl.
- Cover with a generous layer of Mascarpone gelato.
- Cover with a layer of raspberry sorbet (if you want to recall the original double-flavor cheesecake).
- Place in the freezer and add the fresh raspberries only before serving (so as not to freeze them and make them icy).
