Cheesecake Italian style

An Italian reinterpretation of this popular dessert, starting with our Mascarpone gelato.

INGREDIENTS

  • Fresh raspberries 
  • Raspberry sorbet
  • Mascarpone gelato
  • Sponge cake (if you desire)


PREPARATION

The famous “cheesecake” is a cold cake made of a pastry base on which rests a high layer of fresh cheese cream, sweetened and treated with other ingredients.

Our proposal is an Italian reinterpretation of this popular dessert, starting with our Mascarpone gelato.

  1. Choose whether to make a single cake or individual portions.
  2. Spread the sponge cake inside the cake mold or alternatively on the bottom of the glass or bowl.
  3. Cover with a generous layer of Mascarpone gelato.
  4. Cover with a layer of raspberry sorbet (if you want to recall the original double-flavor cheesecake).
  5. Place in the freezer and add the fresh raspberries only before serving (so as not to freeze them and make them icy).
