Colomba with gelato
How to make Easter even more delicious
INGREDIENTS
- Easter Dove
- Gelato flavor of your choice: Egg Cream, Madagascar Vanilla, Mascarpone, Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate or White Chocolate - choose the combination you prefer
PREPARATION
Like its brother Panettone, Colomba (typical of Easter) also goes very well with many flavors of gelato:
- Cut the Colomba into slices
- Place the slices on dessert plates, if desired, heat briefly in the microwave
- Portion the gelato of your choice onto the slice
- Add a dusting of cocoa powder or icing sugar
